Kristina Adeney is a fibre artist born and raised in Cambridge Ontario. While growing up she had the chance to experiment with all kinds of mediums, all of which encouraged her to continue her work in the art field. It wasn't until after school she found felting. Right away she new this medium catered to the designs she imagined.
All her pieces are made by combing the wet and needle felting process. All her pieces are made from 100% wool, from the centre to the outside. She'll often start projects by doing a sketch of it first. Other times it's just starting and then building off that initial idea. Every piece takes hours of needling to achieve the needed density. Each piece is one of a kind and creates a different atmosphere. Kristina's ultimate goal is to offer people a piece of her imagination that they can enjoy and also become inspired by.
