A resident of Cambridge, Pat discovered the urban sketching movement several years ago and found her love of drawing and art making rekindled. She especially enjoys working on location, capturing the textures, the beauty and the history of Cambridge, Waterloo Region and beyond. Through her work as an Interior Designer/Decorator, she is especially attracted to depicting the architecture and the fabric of the urban environment that she sees around her. She works in pen/ink, watercolour and graphite pencil.

Pat is a Fine Arts graduate of the University of Waterloo and has pursued further art instruction through various workshops locally and in Europe. Her work has been accepted into juried and group shows and can be found in private collections. She can often be seen at various local sites, sitting on her folding stool and working away on her next sketch.
