Jeff Christie is a multi-media artist and arts educator at the Cambridge Libraries and Galleries. Jeff studied at Bealart in London, Ontario, Ontario College of Art, University of Guelph and Dundas Valley School of Art. His work has received the Anne Sneath Memorial Award for Clay, the Vivian Sturdee Award for painting and the Bernice Adams Cultural Award for Visual Art. Jeff lives with his wife and son in Cambridge.

Jeff believes his pottery reflects age-old traditions of form and technique inspired by Anasazi pottery of the Southwest and the Japanese process of Raku firing. The four elements of earth, fire, air and water are the mediums required to create these pieces. His aim is to create works that represent meditations on nature and time.
