Laura Perrin is an artist, educator, and printmaker from the Waterloo Region.  She has an Honours Bachelor of Art and Art History from the University of Toronto/Sheridan College of Art and Design.  She also holds a Masters of Fine Arts from the Slade School of Art.  Laura has exhibited in a variety of group shows throughout Southwestern Ontario.  Her work can be found on www.lauraperrinart.com.  As well, she is a member of the Riverside Print Group.  The RPG has exhibited their work in several local venues over the past 15 years.  This includes the Cambridge Centre for the Arts as well as Idea Exchange.  Their group events can be found at www.riversideprintgroup.com 

Laura is also a mother to two very energetic young boys, and the wife of a very wonderful husband.  She is an avid runner, road cyclist and mountain biker.  

Her work- most recently- is a reflection of the whimsy and energy that her family and her interests bring to her life.  It is colourful and vibrant, and of course very playful.  Additionally, Laura has begun to use patterns in her work, playing with repetition, and applying it to textiles. 

She makes a variety of differently printed works, including small and large scale relief prints, art greeting cards, and some etchings and monoprints.
