is an artist who was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. Despite an early love and affinity for the arts she completed a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Industrial Relations and spent years as a labour mediator. For much of her life she has studied art part-time with her mother, well-known Ottawa artist and teacher Margo Wild, both privately and in her group classes. She has spent the last 23 years living and raising her family in Cambridge, Ontario and when her youngest child left the nest to attend University she dedicated herself fully to her artistic endeavours.

She uses acrylic and mixed media on canvas to express herself and in particular her passion for the beauty of the world around her. She paints both figurative and more abstracted landscapes and florals, often exploring the play and contrast of lights and darks. In her work she looks for details of the natural world to evoke a sense of calm and peace that can be found even when life is at its most turbulent. Where she uses abstraction in her works she does so to emphasize a feeling rather than the subject itself. The tranquility she feels when creating the work is something she hopes she is able to share with the viewer.
