is a St George area artist who has been working in clay since the turn of the millennium.  She has studied at the Cambridge Centre for the Arts, Mohawk College, Dundas Valley School of Art, and Brantford Potters’ Guild, as well as participating in numerous workshops over the years.  Her works have received several awards in local juried competitions.

Jeanne is fascinated by the transitions – and the variables – that occur in the life of clay:  from the lump of soft plastic clay, to firm but still pliable forms, to delicate and dry greenware, to hard bisque which is the canvas for decorative colouring and finishing, and finally to permanent art.  Hand building and wheel throwing both decorative and functional pieces, she strives to accurately interpret scale, texture, and detail in order to reveal the stories and memories embedded in the ordinary.
