Monique is a painter and illustrator from Cambridge, Ontario. She can often be found painting on location with members of the Urban Sketchers Waterloo Region group. While her paintings are based in watercolour and gouache she also adds mixed media such as coloured pencil and acrylic marker that lend a more graphic feel to her work.

Her illustrations often combine analogue with digital and focuses on narrative storytelling that is inspired by her interests in music, textile arts, gastronomy, and children’s TV shows.
