Tim’s paintings reflect both a highly personal response to everyday life, and a constant push toward new ways of painting. In his large-scale paintings direct observation and abstraction are constant companions - seeking the connection between important and playful. Tim isn't interest in highly polished works - he’s after a moment! A moment the viewer can expand on with their own perspective.

Tim Steven is a Ontario based artist, currently living in Cambridge, Canada. He studied at Sheridan College of Applied Arts, and has exhibited his paintings in group and solo shows since 1986.
